The Axe Forgets, The Tree Remembers Soft Enamel Pin
- Description
The axe forgets; the tree remembers. This is a phrase that means that when someone causes trauma to another person, the instigator may find the incident entirely forgettable, but their victim may never forget the event and could be impacted by what happened for the rest of their lives.
When an axe is done cutting a tree, the axe is unharmed, and the same as it was before it began to cut. When a tree is cut down, it is greatly harmed; and even if it manages to heal and grow back, there will always be scars from the time it was cut down.
These pins are 30mm tall, in black painted plating, with soft enamel. They have two posts on the back with clear rubber stoppers, and my name as a backstamp.
