Ceramic paint palette - moon crescent
I had a go at making ceramic paint palettes! They’re all unique, and a bit rough around the edges, but I think they’re lovely. They’re all handmade with white clay, and glazed with a thin layer of translucent white glaze. On some of the palettes the glaze has pooled a little in the paint wells, making it more opaque. The glaze has reacted with small inclusions in the clay to form small dark spots, for a sort of “cookies and cream” effect. Each palette has my initials “JI” on the base.
These palettes are experimental student work, and aren’t as flat and perfect as more mass-produced ceramics works may be. Therefore I’ve listed them quite cheaply. Each palette has several photos in the listing, and I can provide more details about a particular palette upon request.
